I’ve been a big stalker of social credit systems :) but I dont really think that SCS are a response to gunaxi — I think that gunaxi will still prevail, especially, if the SCS are prone to tampering, as they are now. And of course, gunaxi still applies to the undocumented Chinese, which are a very large portion of the population, as without a govnmt issued ID you can’t be part of the SCS, or has this changed?
